WELCOME TO MISS RENEE'S WEBSITE

My email address is  themissrenee@sbcglobal.net

As many of you know, because you faithfully took classes with me for years, I have recently (16 hours ago) retired from my sweet classes.  I have been identified with the preschool set since 1984 teaching music, then some art classes and Toddler Playtime.

In the subsequent years I found I loved teaching cooking to children, etiquette classes, and even sports and games.

The last days at each recreation center were so endearing that I want to post right here some of the sweet comments I received in cards and scrapbooks.  I have permission so please come back often as I update this site.

I can't erase the following just now but please don't get confused about class offerings.  I will erase it as I add things, I promise.

Biography:
Who is Miss Renee?  Renee Sutton has a great love of children and people.  She hails from Chicago, IL and has taught for over 20 years.  After working as a Speech Therapist, she began her career with the Austin Parks and Recreation Department in 1984 teaching the Miss Renee Toddler Classes and has taught in the Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department since 1992.   She holds a B.S. in Speech Pathology and utilizes her love of music, dance, art and cooking in her classes.

Through imaginative play children ages 1 – 5 years (as well as elementary school age during the summer session in Junior Chefs), receive a progressive introduction to hands-on educational concepts, which build self-esteem, coordination and social skills. Bonding with your toddler and the opportunity to exchange parenting ideas are a part of this supportive atmosphere.  She welcomes all families to the joy of learning in a healthy environment.
